Well when i got the book i was amazed on the amount of diffrent Roof Framing situations that are in it . Stuff in this book not to many people know how to do. Even if i just use the book once to refer to the 20 i spent on it was worth it … If you are Into cutting rafters and find the Common Gables and Hips fun to do then you would love this ….

Very detailed with corresponding illustrations. My favorite construction book out of 10. Covers all variations of complex rafter roofs. Also check out Roof Framer’s bible for tables and corresponding math if u hate those construction calculators. .

Customer Review: An inexpensive solution to a steep roof job.
These are rather basic brackets although they are adjustable. Finish is nothing special and probably dunked in paint and sent through a dryer. Hinge is painted shut when received but breaks free for job setup. Worked very well and held a treated 2 x 10 securely to serve as a solid platform. .

10″ platform adjusts to three positions to fit the pitch of the roof. (45, 55, 65) Easily fastened to roof, with both side slots and key holes for nailing. Easily set up, repositioned, and removed, without damaging roofing surface. All steel construction for strength and safety. Folds flat for compact storage. One man per 8 feet of staging plus 40 lbs. Space brackets no more than 8 feet apart.

My order was badly screwed up at first–I received a notice that it had been shipped and would arrive within the week. Nearly three weeks later, I finally checked to see what the holdup was and the manufacturer’s representative said it “somehow never got into our computer.” After that exchange of e-mails, someone called me personally to verify that I still wanted the merchandise, and when I confirmed that, it arrived very quickly. I haven’t used the product yet, but I’m familiar with it from other jobs and I’m confident it’s as advertised.
